German Society for Radiation Oncology calls for the donations to reconstruct the Kyiv National Cancer Center in Ivano-Frankivsk

The German Society for Radiation Oncology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Radioonkologie, DEGRO) calls for the donations to reconstruct the Kyiv National Cancer Center in Ivano-Frankivsk.

For the safety of the patients, the facilities of one of the largest and best-known oncological centers in Ukraine – the National Cancer Institute, have been partially moved from Kyiv to Ivano-Frankivsk in the western part Ukraine. A plan is to establish a branch of the National Cancer Institute in the Oncological Center Ivano-Frankivsk to provide all necessary medical help to oncological patients, including refugees from the other parts of Ukraine. The current situation requires an immediate response as the needs of the increasing numbers of oncological patients cannot be covered by the present capacities in Ivano-Frankivsk, and the instruments and surgical materials for these patients are urgently required.

The donations will be spent for purchasing the necessary equipment, instruments, and surgical materials.
