  • Beer-Sheva: The Ben-Gurion University of the Negev invites scholars and students affected by the war in Ukraine to apply for an academic intership or a semester at BGU and will provide scholarships and accomodation for eligible candidates
  • Bar-Ilan University invites Ukrainian students to come study in any of our English language degree programs and to integrate into the existing research groups. Ukrainian and Russian speaking students can be mentored in their native language by Bar-Ilan students, thus ensuring a smoother absorption into campus life.   • Hadassah Hebrew University Hospital, Goldyne Savad Institute of Gene Therapy is interested to host PhD and post-docs who are involved in research in liver disease. In particular in liver inflammation and cancer. These students can either make here progress with their ongoing investigations and establishing their models here; or, join current project in the lab. We will cover travel cost to Israel and also provide a stipend that will allow reasonable living in Israel/Jerusalem. The period is what ever is needed.   • Haifa Center for German & European Studies offers a 1-year fellowship in aspects of modern European history to a researcher with a PhD, preference will be given to a female scientist who had to flee Ukraine with their children.
