The Hertie School (Berlin) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) in Ukraine to explore cooperation on joint research and education projects over the next five years. The agreement is a signal of solidarity with Ukraine against the brutal Russian invasion and aims to further strengthen international cooperation in Europe.
Specifically, the partners will encourage direct contacts and cooperation between their faculty members, graduate students, departments, institutes and academic staff. They will explore the possibility of collaborative research projects, short-term visits for conducting research, teaching or sesominars, and joint supervision of graduate research students.
The Hertie School runs also a dedicated page “How to help” that overviews initiatives to help those affected by war in Ukraine.
