This interdisciplinary meeting has a number of sessions on specific topics of various disciplines and will also include sessions dedicated to general discussions of science management in Ukraine.
The Conference is opened to researchers from all scientific fields in which active research is conducted in Ukraine. The actual representation of scientific fields at this year’s Conference reflects the activity and interest of individual scientists, research groups and professional communities of Ukrainian research area and includes physics, chemistry, mechanics, biotechnology and medical sciences.
The purpose of the Conference is to bring together actively working Ukrainian researchers – representatives of various scientific fields from all areas of science. It aims at providing a platform for exchange of ideas and discussions on current scientific issues in specialized scientific sessions, as well as addressing the science in Ukraine as a whole – both in plenary sessions and panel discussions with members of the Scientific Committee of the National Council for Science & Technology Development and other stakeholders.
In addition to the exciting scientific program, Lviv city tours are planned, including excursions with a scientific flavor. Did you know that such math giants as Stefan Banach or Stanislaw Ulam (of the Fermi-Pasta-Ulam-Tsingou study on thermalisation and the inventor of the Monte Carlo method of computation) worked in Lviv?
Currently the conference is planned as a hybrid meeting: on-site, but with all talks broadcasted over the Internet as well. You can decide on your participation mode at any point until the 10th of September.
Conference motivation: The field of scientific research in Ukraine is going through challenging times. We are witnessing transformation processes that are not always and not in all aspects controlled. There is a need to carry out all-Ukrainian events with the participation of all parties interested in the successful functioning of the field of research, and to discuss problems – both existing and potential.
Guided by this motivation, the Executive Council of the Ukrainian Research Association in partnership with the Scientific Committee of the National Council for Science and Technology Development initiated this first All-Ukrainian Conference of Researchers on September 19-25, 2021 in Lviv.
