GERMANY, Bavaria: BAYHOST support programs for students and scientists exchange with Eastern Europe in 2022

The Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST) oversees the scholarship and grant program of the Free State of Bavaria and its partner countries in Central and Eastern Europe and provides mobility grants for the exchange of students and young researchers as well as for the initiation of cooperation in the field of research and education.


  • Internships in Eastern Europe for students from Bavarian universities and colleges, maximum funding: EUR 450 Deadlines: application is continuously possible for the 1st half of 2022/ 13 May, 2022 for the 2nd half of 2022

Outgoing/ Incoming:

  • Research stays: students and young scientists from Eastern Europe and Bavaria have the opportunity, in cooperation with lecturers at Bavarian universities, to apply for mobility grants in the form of grants for research stays in Bavaria or Eastern Europe. Maximum funding: EUR 1,000. Deadline: continuously possible for the 1st half of 2022 / 29 April, 2022 for the 2nd half of 2022
