DAAD Leonhard Euler-Programm, apply by 31 January

The goals of this funding program are to provide students and young scientists with professional and/or methodological qualifications and to expand international educational and research collaborations.

Funding is available for graduate students, postgraduates, doctoral candidates and university teachers from Belarus, Republic of Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan), South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia) and Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia) and German university teachers.

Funding is provided for combined study and research stays of graduate and doctoral students from the specified countries at the home university (sur-place) and at the partner university in Germany, which serve the purpose of realizing master’s, diploma or doctoral theses.

Eligible to apply are state and state-recognized German universities as well as non-university research institutions recognized as non-profit and active in independent research, based in Germany, that have proven scientific ties to a university in the above-mentioned countries.
