Lysiak-Rudnytsky Ukrainian Studies Programme: The 2nd Call is Open, apply by 22 July 2026

The Lysiak-Rudnytsky Ukrainian Studies Programme is a programme to support projects in Ukrainian studies for research, educational, cultural institutions, and analytical centres abroad.

The second 2026 Open Call is now open for applications from research, educational and cultural institutions, as well as think tanks outside Ukraine, seeking support for projects in the field of Ukrainian studies. 

  • Projects to be completed within: 10 months
  • Grants: up to $15,000

To provide continuous support for Ukrainian studies, the programme will hold two open calls this year. 

2nd Call Submission Deadline: July 22, 2026 (inclusive). Applicants should take time zone differences into account. The deadline is based on UTC+3. The results of the first round will be announced in the end of August 2026. 

The Programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Institute in cooperation with the Cultural Diplomacy Foundation, with financial support from the International Renaissance Foundation and Mnozhyna Foundation.
