The “Days of Ukraine” are held annually by the German Ukrainian Academic Society (DUAG e.V.), accompanied by the General Assembly of the Society (Jahrestagung).
In 2026 the host is the federal state of Brandenburg and the organizer is the Technischen Hochschule Wildau – Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (TH Wildau, close to Berlin). Under patronage of the Minister for Science, Research and Culture, Dr. Manja Schüle, the event is organized by Prof. Dr. Marcus Frohme and his team.
This year’s Days of Ukraine in Brandenburg will comprise a series of events (PROGRAM) and mark the 10th anniversary of the German-Ukrainian Academic Society. The Days of Ukraine will start on Wednesday (October, the 7th) with an opening reception at the representation of the State of Brandenburg in Berlin (Vertretung des Landes Brandenburg beim Bund). On Thursday (October, the 8th) and Friday (October, the 9th) forenoon, the scientific program in Wildau will be dedicated to diverse research of the various universities in Brandenburg as well as teaching and networking initiatives. Another highlight will be the festive evening at the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences in Berlin (BBAW) on Thursday (October, the 8th). On Friday afternoon (October, the 9th) various activities will be offered on the TU Wildau campus, close by or in Berlin.
