For four days in March 2023, 14 people learnt Ukrainian at the language center of the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder).
The course was organized for the second time, free of charge and open to everyone. Students, researchers and general public came from Berlin and Brandenburg.
Dr Olesia Lazarenko created a warm learning atmosphere for all participants. For the Polonist and Ukrainian Studies expert, the motivation behind the offer is to represent her language and her country: “Through the language, I’m proving that this culture really exists“.
