Leibniz Information Center for Science and Technology conducts an “Introductory Workshop to Open Education Resources” for representatives of Ukrainian institutions. The workshop takes place online on 6 March 2023 from 9:00 – 11:00 (German time) and will be held in English. Registration via email support.twillo@tib.eu is required.
The focus of the workshop is on copyright and open licensing. Participants will gain hands-on experience through exercises and practical examples of effective integration of Open Educational Resources (OER) into their work. Additionally, participants will learn what factors to consider when creating their own OER. The primary subjects covered in the workshop include the main characteristics of Open Educational Resources (OER), fundamentals of copyright and licensing laws, effective integration of openly licensed materials into own work, publishing own work as OER, as well as an overview of the OER portal twillo and the video portal av.tib.eu.
