Topics to be discussed include:

1. German-language sources on the history of early modern Ukraine
2. The image of Ukraine and Eastern Europe in the German early modern sources
3. The German lands in the Ukrainian early modern sources
4. The historiography of Ukrainian-German relations in the early modern period
5. Monuments to Magdeburg Rights in Ukraine
6. Monuments to Protestantism in Ukraine
7. The spread of Protestantism in Ukraine
8. The Thirty Years’ War and Ukraine
9. Ukrainians in the service of the German states
10. German colonies in Ukraine
11. Ukrainian students in German universities
12. Ukrainian-German cultural and scientific relations
13. Trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Germany of the early modern period

Working languages: Ukrainian, English, German

Applications should include the proposed topic of your presentation and a brief summary (about 500 printed characters), information about the author (name, surname, degree, title, position and place of work), along with the contact details.
