The Ukraїner media project, Ukrainians Abroad: British-Ukrainian mission to the Moon

The British company Spacebit is a British privately held company developing space robotics technology for lunar and planetary missions. The company was founded in 2014 by Ukrainian Pavlo Tanasyuk.

The American National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) plans to send the first woman and man under the Artemis program within the decade. They plan to launch lunar rovers and special sensors to examine the properties of the surface and atmosphere and Spacebit will contribute to the research part of the program. They plan to do this in cooperation with partners in Ukraine. One of them is the renown Pivdenne Design Bureau in Dnipro, which will help to test the robot and some parts will also be produced there. Another partner is the Lviv-based company “Sparring-Whist Center“,which develops radiation monitoring systems. In addition, the Meridian plant in Kyiv named after S. P. Koroliov and the Dnipro-based company “TitanEra” are contributing to the project.

Also of potential interest: Ukraїner. The Movie is a visual narration about the everyday life of the least known country of the European continent. The movie consists of six stories woven into a single canvas. Each of them shows a usual day taking place in Ukraine, the country created by unusual people. The main characters are not connected with each other, and the worlds they live in are completely different. Those differences are the glue that keeps this country together and unites it.
