UKRAINE: “Day of Science” 12-13.11.2016

Day of Science” in Ukraine: Your contribution and support will be appreciated!

On 12-13.11 the already traditional “Days of Sciences” will take place in 7 Ukrainian cities (Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kaniv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, and Zhytomyr). This is a science popularisation project, launched in Ukraine in 2013 by young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Ukraine. It is now conducted twice a year, offering an excellent opportunity for thousands of children and their parents alike, and the general public to get closer acquainted with science. The days include free-of charge lectures, demonstrations of experiments and installations, tours and workshops, offered by enthusiastic researchers from the NASU, universities, museums, etc. In order to reach even wider audience the organisers has just founded an NGO – “Unia Scientifica” and launched a crowd-funding campaign. If you are interested to support the next “Days of Science” events in Ukraine by e.g. offering a lecture – please get in touch! You can also donate to the “Unia Scientifica” using the instructions provided through the web-link below (please specify the payment purpose as “irretrievable financial support for statutory activity”). A detailed report on utilisation of all collected funds will be published at the project web-page.
