Ukraine and Croatia signed a program of cooperation in science and technology

On September 11, 2024 Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi and Minister of Science, Education and Youth of the Republic of Croatia Radovan Fuks signed a program of cooperation in science and technology in Kyiv.

The program is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and stimulating scientific and technological development.

Main provisions of the Program:

  • Exchange of scientists and experts: The program provides for the exchange of scientists, researchers and experts between Ukraine and Croatia.
  • Joint scientific events: organization of joint scientific conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops and exhibitions.
  • Establishment of research centers: it is planned to establish joint research centers and temporary research groups.
  • Technology exchange: support for the exchange of technologies and scientific and technological information between business entities.

The conclusion of this agreement provides legal foundations for active cooperation in the scientific field, which will promote innovation and create new opportunities for researchers in both countries, as well as Ukraine’s integration into the European Research Area.
