Deep knowledge of Molecular Biology (ELISA, RNA-Seq, design/production of viruses, etc.) and/or (in vivo) calcium imaging including the corresponding analysis methods (Matlab) as well as experience in Al/data science would be appreciated
The main institute’s research fields include:
- analysis of the interaction between the nervous and immune systems of the brain
- priming and senescence of microglia
- in vivo analysis of signal processing in the olfactory bulb
- cellular/molecular basis of sleep-mediated learning
- mechanisms of integration of adult stem cells in preesisting neural networks
- normal brain aging and Alzheimer’s disease
The candidate is welcome to contribute to the teaching in neurophysiology, and to participate in the “Graduate School of Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience” or the Ph.D. program “Experimental Medicine”
