From 11 June to 16 July 2026, scholars from Ukraine and Germany will come together for 5 online lectures and a roundtable discussion exploring how education and academia respond to war, displacement, and societal change. Open to all interested participants.

The Ukrainian Studies Conference “Ukraine in the World” will be hosted by the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv. The aim of the conference to create a major international platform in Ukraine that unites global academia around a contemporary vision of Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar studies. The organizers of the conference are the Ukrainian Institute, Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Catholic University, in cooperation with the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies and with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.

Third International Virtual Conference on Ukraine, hosted by Linköping University, provides a global academic platform for researchers and practitioners to share knowledge, present new research results, and engage in dialogue on Ukraine’s future development. The conference aims to advance evidence-based insights on post-war reconstruction and socio-economic transformation, bringing together perspectives from economics, business administration, energy, health, finance, political science, sociology and interdisciplinary fields. The conference will be held online via Zoom and participation is free of charge.

The Polish-Ukrainian Science & Technology Forum is designed as a platform for cooperation between the Ukrainian and Polish research communities, the exchange of experience, and the development of joint research and innovation projects. Priority will be given to critically important technology sectors, including energy, healthcare, digital infrastructure, and other deep-tech fields. The program will combine visits to leading Polish research institutes and laboratories with project presentations, intensive training sessions, and workshops.The working language of the Forum is English.
The Forum is open to leaders of Ukrainian research groups in science and technology, researchers and project managers from universities, research institutes and &D units, as well as founders and managers of deep-tech companies. Priority will be given to high-technology teams and projects at the pre-seed and seed stages, as well as researchers working on technologies for critical infrastructure.
Up to 24 participants from Ukraine and Poland will be selected. For selected Ukrainian participants, the organisers will fully cover accommodation, meals during the official program, local transport in Poland, and participation in all training sessions, visits, and networking activities. Travel expenses to and from Poland will be reimbursed up to UAH 9,000 per participant after the event.

The Forum is organised by the Kyiv Representative Office of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Cooperation Fund Foundation, and the CEE Startup Bridge Foundation. The event is supported by the Mieroszewski Centre under the 4th Open Call for Projects.

The “Days of Ukraine” are held annually by the German Ukrainian Academic Society (DUAG e.V.), accompanied by the General Assembly of the Society. In 2026 the host is the federal state of Brandenburg and the organizer is the Technischen Hochschule Wildau – Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (TH Wildau, close to Berlin). Under patronage of the Minister for Science, Research and Culture, Dr. Manja Schüle, the event is organized by Prof. Dr. Marcus Frohme and his team. This year’s Days of Ukraine in Brandenburg will comprise a series of events (PROGRAM) and mark the 10th anniversary of the German-Ukrainian Academic Society. The Days of Ukraine will start on Wednesday (October, the 7th) with an opening reception at the representation of the State of Brandenburg in Berlin (Vertretung des Landes Brandenburg beim Bund). On Thursday (October, the 8th) and Friday (October, the 9th) forenoon, the scientific program in Wildau will be dedicated to diverse research of the various universities in Brandenburg as well as teaching and networking initiatives. Another highlight will be the festive evening at the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences in Berlin (BBAW) on Thursday (October, the 8th). On Friday afternoon (October, the 9th) various activities will be offered on the TU Wildau campus, close by or in Berlin. REGISTRATION is open until 31st August 2026. There is no registration fee.
