Saarland University (Germany) is developing a long-term partnership with Ukrainian universities and has recently launched the project “Saar-Ukraine University Network (SUUN): Overcoming Borders for a EUropean Future”, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and funded by the German Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space (BMFTR) within the framework of the German-Ukrainian University Network/Deutsch-Ukrainisches Hochschulnetzwerk 2025–2029.
Saarland University (UdS) invites applications for the SUUN Training Course (SUUN-TC) – an intensive professional development program designed to strengthen strategic leadership at Ukrainian universities (Vice-Rectors, Deans, and Vice-Deans) through bilateral cooperation and international knowledge exchange:

- Course Format and Timeline: The course spans 3 online phases and 1 in-person phase:
Phase 1 | Jan–Feb 2026 | Online | Orientation webinar, Strategic Action Plan (SAP) introduction
Phase 2 | Apr 2026 | On-site | 6-day training in Saarbrücken: Internationalization, HR, Quality Management (travel & accomodation expenses will be supported via a scholarship)
Phase 3 | Jun–Jul 2026 | Online | Thematic webinars, SAP coaching sessions
Phase 4 | Oct–Nov 2026 | Online | SAP presentations, soft skills workshops
