This year 17 PhD students from six countries applied to our annual PhD Contest. After a careful peer review the following PhD students have been invited to present their work at the Final, which will take place in Saarbrücken, Germany on Thursday, 26th of September 2024, within the framework of the UKRAINIAN DAYS IN SAARLAND (Saarbrücken, 26-27 September 2024):

Olena Nosovska from the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Macromolecular Chemistry at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany: “Enantioselective Lewis base catalyzed allylation of Nitrogencentered latent (pro)nucleophiles. Preparation of an integrin inhibitor library” (tentative title)
Svitlana Palii from the Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Ukraine: “Molecular mechanisms of endothelial dysfunction at the influence of ACE inhibitors and beta-blockers” (tentative title)
