The German-Ukrainian Academic Society and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Germany invite you to the next lecture in the framework of the Lecture Series “Science First Hand”. This year, this Lecture Series offers a platform to Ukrainian researchers who are currently abroad because of the full-scale russian military aggression and continue to work on their research.
The presentation “The Language of Seventeenth-Century Kyivan Elites and Corpus Linguistics: How to Combine Them?” will be delivered by Halyna Naienko, PhD, professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language and Applied Linguistics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, participant of the project “Orthodox Slavic Linguistic Varieties at the Threshold of Modernity: Continuity and Innovation. A Mixed-Methods Approach (program Beethoven Classic 4), Narodowe Centrum Nauki, Rzeczpospolita Polska), Department of Slavic Studies, University of Lodz.
