Berlin, 13 September: Valfair Bridge Forum Ukrainian Style & Values

The Valfair Bridge Forum “Ukrainian Style & Values” aims to contribute to a better knowledge and understanding of Ukraine and promote connections in all areas of civil society. This charity event marks the beginning of a Silk Road of good values, which leads from the Ukraine via Poland to Germany and back. Initiated and organized by the Valfair Bridge Forum (Dr. Hubertus Glaser, Berlin), in partnership with the German-Ukrainian Academic Society (Deutsch-Ukrainische Akademische Gesellschaft e. V.), Hedwig-Stiftung, Schloss Muhrau, Morawa, IWEK e.V. Initiative für Wissensaustausch, Empowerment und Kultur, Musikgymnasium C. Ph. E. Bach (Berlin), Ukraine- Hilfe Berlin . 14:00 – 16:00 (Otto-Braun-Saal):  Facts and insights – what you should know about our great European neighbour

A trialogue panel round (in a hybrid-format) with Ukrainian, Polish and German experts will discuss some of the most burning questions about history, presence and values of Ukraine and its relationship to Europe, especially to Poland and Germany. Speakers:

Talk to Ukrainian, Polish and German people, see some very interesting books and products as well as video clips and presentations on screen and enjoy selfmade tasty Ukrainian finger food!

Don’t miss the theater performance “Home/Land” at 17:30h on stage!

18:00 – 20:00 (Otto-Braun-Saal): Charity Concert

More than 40 highly gifted teenagers from Ukraine, Poland and Germany perform a mixed and moderated classical program, supporting the C4C – Children for Children project and donations for First-Aid-Kits as part of activities for Stop blood in Ukraine!
