On 29 July 2022 the Scholar Support Office (SSO) has been established as a structural unit of the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information. SSO serves as Scholar/Research Promotion Agency, dedicated to implementation of research and innovation policy. Its goal is also to promote technology-enabled innovation in Ukraine and in cooperation with international partners.
Scholar Support Office team consists of young and proactive scientists who have a strong desire to change a system of scholars’ support.
The mission of the SSO is to establish a career development framework for researchers in Ukraine, support researchers’ careers both through individual and institutional measures, and thus ensure that Ukraine’s human capital meets demands of the knowledge-based economy of the future.
Scholar Support Office’s activity vectors are:
- Support of career development of researchers
- Advocacy of interests of scientists in Ukraine

- Development of effective partnerships
- Cooperation with the scientific diaspora
