Leibniz University Hannover invites applications for the training course “Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2020-2021”.

The application deadline is 15 December 2019. 

This current blended learning training course has been developed by the International Office of Leibniz University Hannover within the DAAD Program “Support for the internationalization of Ukrainian higher education institutions – continuing education programs for administrators at Ukrainian higher education institutions in education and academic management (2019–2021)” to meet the needs of German-Ukrainian academic cooperation.

The key objective of the 18-months training course is to qualify staff (either International Office staff or higher education managers responsible for coordinating international activities) of Ukrainian universities. The programme is designed to provide participants with the profound knowledge of the different aspects of internationalization and to enable them to manage the corresponding processes and tasks as well as foster the internationalization of their universities.

18 participants will be selected, one participant per university. The Selection Committee is composed of Higher Education Management experts and staff of Leibniz University Hannover and German-Ukrainian Academic Society e.V.

The German-Ukrainian Academic Society e.V. and The Netzwerk Wissenschaftsmanagement support the realization of the program and provide guidance for individual projects as well as assistance with regard to internships, networking activities and contacts. Furthermore, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv supports the training course by providing corresponding regional knowledge and expertise.
