Initiatives under the Coalition are listed within three main categories:
- Reconstruction and modernisation of research and technology infrastructure based on Open Science principles
- Support for Ukrainian researchers and innovators working in Ukraine to address brain drain and brain circulation
- Capacity Building: support and development of Ukraine’s state policy in science and innovation
Coalition’s 1st Technical-Level Meeting took place online on 9 December 2025 and was devoted to the theme ‘Support for Ukrainian researchers working in Ukraine to address brain drain and brain circulation.’ It brought together over 70 participants, including Coalition members from 16 countries and invited organisations such as public authorities, funding agencies, universities, research organisations and civil society.
