The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the world’s largest funding organisation for international academic cooperation and the international exchange of students and scholars. Its members are the German universities and their student bodies. The DAAD’s 21 regional offices around the world and 37 information centres on Germany as a centre of higher education and research make an important contribution to the DAAD’s international expertise.
