A new EU-funded project HELIOS will focus on the research and innovation strategy for Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU) dedicated to white-emitting organic lighting systems. Project activities include designing efficient white emitters for solid-state lighting, promoting knowledge transfer through staff exchanges, trainings and seminars, enhancing career prospects for early-stage researchers through workshops, summer schools and shared PhD programmes.

This project brings together leading scientists and researchers from Ukraine, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Latvia, and Luxembourg and aims to revolutionize the field of organic lighting technologies. The project coordinator is Lviv Polytechnic National University. On October 17-18, 2024, the kick-off meeting of the project took place in Kraków, Poland.
