INDEX: Institute for Documentation and Exchange is a new cultural and research institution founded by the IWM that seeks to empower the Ukrainian intellectual vanguard and advance knowledge about Ukraine worldwide in the long-term perspective. It emerged from IWM’s lasting engagement with Ukraine, which includes such programs as Ukraine in European Dialogue and Documenting Ukraine. INDEX aims to connect initiatives documenting the war and facilitate international exchange through fellowships for academics and cultural practitioners from Ukraine and abroad. As an institution based in Lviv, it strives to become an integral part of Ukrainian institutional landscape.
INDEX is currently recruiting dedicated candidates to join a growing team of professionals who will contribute to this endeavor:

This person will work closely with INDEX’s leadership to lead INDEX’s digital archiving activities, including the Documenting Ukraine archive and participation in a growing network of Ukrainian documentation and archiving initiatives.
- Program Coordinator, an initiative-driven and professional individual who will take on the organization and logistical support of INDEX’s public events program, as well as provide support for the institution’s international guests and fellows.
- Accountant, a person with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and at least 2 years of professional experience in the financial sector.
