At the founding meeting of the German-Ukrainian Academic Society (11 July 2016, Berlin, Germany) 16 researchers from all over Germany decided to join forces and form the non-for-profit NGO to support the goals of the UKRAINE Network in and from Germany.
Both natural and legal persons can become members of the German-Ukrainian Academic Society upon application to the executive board (the membership application form is available here).
The Statutes of the Society are available upon request.
For natural persons three types of membership are possible:
- Associated member, for PhD students upon the confirmation of the registration (free, without voting rights)
- Ordinary member (Membership fee: EUR 50.- pa)
- Family membership (Membership fee: EUR 80.-pa)
Interested legal entities are welcome to contact the executive board to discuss their possible membership.

By becoming a member of the Society you agree to its Statutes (available upon request). You can decide to end your membership at any time by sending a membership cancellation request to the board (board-germany (at) ukrainet. eu).
