The scholarship program “Metropolises in Eastern Europe” supports German students to study or to realize a scientific project in Eastern Europe.
The program is financed by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen and Halbach Foundation and is open for all subjects (except art, design, music and film).
The stay abroad can last between 7 months and 4 semesters. The first part of the stay is commonly dedicated to the language course in the country of interest followed by the subject-specific courses and/ or research. The program is also open to applicants who previously had few or no contact with Eastern European countries. It is also possible to sponsor full Master’s programs in Eastern European countries.
